Recap: Ballyhack HackFest Member Guest
Ballyhack had the privilege of hosting their Member-Guest tournament September 30 – October 2. Before even the first tee time of the tournament, players were greeted upon arrival with awesome tee gifts, flavor-filled food, and top notched hospitality as a welcome to Ballyhack and HackFest 2021.
The weekend was filled with three days of fun camaraderie and exciting competition on near-perfect course conditions, two nights worth of games such as a putting course, a target contest, and a par 3 challenge.
During the event, 46 teams competed within 8 flights in five nine-hole matches with hopes of advancing to the final shootout and competing against the other flight champions. The teams who participated in the shootout consisted of all eight flight winners plus two Wild Card teams (the highest point totals who did not win their flight).
The weekend wrapped up on Saturday the 2nd, where, through a Wild Card entry, Jared Camp and his guest Richard Bishop defeated Chris Walters and his guest Matt Chandler on the final hole of the shootout to secure the Overall HackFest 2021 Championship.
