Holes We Love: Dormie Club
Four of our favorites in North Carolina

Located just a few minutes north of the Home of American Golf, Dormie Club offers one of the finest destination golf experiences in the North Carolina Sandhills. Ranked among North Carolina’s best, the Coore/Crenshaw original design sits on over 1,000 acres of sandy, undulating terrain. Each hole is a classic, and these are four of my favorites.
Hole #3
Par 4 (243 – 312 yards)
A short par four with a diabolical green complex. This hole provides an opportunity for both a birdie or a big number.
Hole #7
Par 3 (147 – 236 yards)
A monster par three with very little room to bail out. Make sure you have enough club and then add another!
Hole #8
Par 4 (372 – 488 yards)
At least the toughest hole provides the best view!
Hole #18
Par 4 (341 – 420 yards)
The perfect finishing hole. The way the clubhouse frames the hole in the background is second to none.
